Dr. Shereen Abdo is a dedicated General Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, women’s health, and family medicine. She trained in Egypt (MD with Honours; MSc in Paediatrics) and the UK (comprehensive GP training), and holds a Family Medicine licence to practise in Canada. A board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) since 2011, she supports families through the perinatal period and beyond. Dr. Abdo is committed to holistic, patient-centred care that empowers individuals and strengthens family well-being.
Past experience
Dr. Abdo has practised across hospital and community settings in Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Canada, providing comprehensive primary care, contraception counselling and procedures, menopause management, perinatal support, and mental-health care. She is an experienced subdermal contraception implant fitter/remover and has led breastfeeding and infant-nutrition clinics as an IBCLC.
